ARTISTIC CAPERS: This company came to be as a retirement project that combines my love of art and my passion for opening the sometimes intimidating doors of the art world to everyone.  In a world that is filled with timelines and pressure to do more in less time, it is nice to find a niche that allows us to unwind, relax and free our inner child to play and explore in a safe non-judgmental way. Research shows us that art can help us to relax and decompress. Come and join us. NO artistic talents are required. But at the same time, if you have talent at any level,  you too will have fun at our workshops. There are no mistakes in the workshops- just happy discoveries. No one grades you or criticizes you. Everyone is encouraged to go where the spirit moves them and make their art just that… THEIRS. Examples and suggestions are available to get you started or for you to follow. Whatever you feel you need to do to have fun and enjoy your time.

I am Lenore Ralph, a resident of the beautiful city of Guelph. I had been teaching children art for many years before I retired and often heard parents lament that they wished they could have joined the class and played too. This got me to thinking and voila! Artistic Capers! We all need a chance to explore,  play with colour and different media and to free our creative self (that has too often been locked away) in a supportive, friendly environment.

If you have an event coming up and you are looking for an activity that is open to everyone, no matter what age or ability level, talk to us! For a unique Wedding or baby shower, bachelor/bachelorette party, birthday, anniversary, team building, house warming, Mother/daughter night, Father/son night, meet and mingle  or “we need a night out”, contact us. Check the website for workshops being offered and sign up to join us. Come and meet old friends or new people.

We love our customers and welcome your feedback and suggestions. Use our Contact Us page to tell us what we’re doing right or what we can improve on. Artistically yours, Lenore 🙂
